Magic carpet
Mystery ride
To continents listed
Only inside:
Take me on this journey
This ancient sacred path
Of those who seek to lose
Some Thing
They never really had,
Like ego and…
Damn.

I love this poem, especially because of the twist at the end, where the author is ‘brought back down to earth’. It is a lovely surprise.
